Legal Administrative Assistant

Strong and Hanni is seeking a professional experienced Legal Administrative Assistant. This position will provide secretarial/administrative support for one of our business litigation practice groups. Seeking a candidate that is dependable, who has a consistent work schedule, a strong work ethic, and has demonstrated a history of working efficiently in a confidential legal environment.

This is a full-time, in-office position located in our Salt Lake City, Utah office.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Accurate preparation of legal documents.
• Responsible for all legal correspondence to clients, witnesses, and court officials.
• Schedule, calendar, set up conference rooms and confirm appointments.
• Drafting and typing office letters, memos, etc.
• Mail, scan, and e-file documents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• This position requires a thorough understanding of legal administration. Must have legal experience, skills and knowledge in relevant filings, e-filings, briefs, maintaining files, calendaring, and legal rules.
• Excellent communication, oral and written.
• Ability to accurately draft documents using correct formatting and error free punctuation and grammar.
• Have strong organizational and "follow up" skills.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and document management systems.
• E- filing experience.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant preferred.

Expected Schedule: full-time, Monday through Friday, 8 hour day between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm. Some flexibility can be arranged.
