Legal Assistant Paralegal

Lawson Huck Gonzalez is seeking a highly dependable Legal Assistant/Paralegal to support attorneys in our fast-paced, multi-office law firm. This is an in-office position in Tampa and is best suited for someone who is organized, responsive, and takes full ownership of their work.

The role includes managing multiple attorney calendars and deadlines, drafting and formatting correspondence and legal documents, maintaining case files, coordinating e-filings, monitoring incoming communications, and ensuring timely follow-up with attorneys, clients, and court personnel.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, or comparable legal support professional
• Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word)
• Experience with e-filing in state and federal courts
• Ability to manage multiple priorities

Preferences

• Experience supporting litigation and/or appellate practices
• Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP) designation preferred, but not required

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
