CSTS is looking for a Area Sales Manager (Orlando) who will be responsible for sales achievement within an assigned region, ensuring strategic development and planning that promotes substantial business growth. Conducts managed care regional sales by performing the following duties.

This is position is a salary based position + commission - earning potential $150k annually. A monthly car allowance is also provided.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Supports sales activities, training, member’s only events and community relations efforts for Brokers, MSOs, Providers and any entities partnering with the company
• Obtains new accounts through developing and maintaining relationships with relevant contacts to develop key sales network.
• Meets or exceeds annual business plan as measured by new accounts, revenue, membership and profitability objectives.
• Secures quotes, conducts finalist meetings and negotiates transactions.
• Builds collaborative relationships by actively participating in local management discussions.
• Communicates value proposition of plan and other supporting information to drive sales.
• Stays current and communicates market trends, competitive information and buying patterns.
• Acts as a strong advocate and voice of the Company in the benefit management market place.
• Provides managed care plan expertise in direct support of the company to achieve executive level sales and retention efforts for assigned region.
• Works closely with Network Management, Claims and Medical Management to develop sales strategies and ensure client retention.
• Provide timely and ongoing input into sales activity tracking and reporting.
• Support client or non-client audits as needed.
• Oversees and provides input to the development of market specific sales plan.
• Provides input to the development and execution of local marketing strategies.
• Holds systematic meeting schedules with staff, producer and customers.
• Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product.
• Provide management with timely reporting as required and requested.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises Sales and Marketing employees in the Sales department and overseas broker’s sales activities. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; 5 plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other Qualifications

At least 5 years previous experience in Managed Care and Medicare required.
