Part-Time Bookkeeper

About the Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our growing team. This position is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The successful candidate will possess a strong bookkeeping and accounting background, be proficient in QuickBooks, and have experience managing the complete accounting cycle.

This is an in-office position. Remote work is not available.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping and accounting functions
• Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements
• Generate financial reports for management
• Process payroll accurately and on time
• Create and distribute customer invoices
• Monitor collections and follow up on outstanding accounts
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Support budgeting and financial analysis as needed
• Provide excellent customer service while communicating with clients regarding billing and account inquiries
• Perform other administrative and accounting duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting
• Demonstrated experience with:
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Bank Reconciliations
• Payroll Processing
• Financial Statement Preparation
• Monthly Financial Reporting
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
• Professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills
