Dispatcher – Commission Based

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Dispatcher to join our team in a fast-paced trucking environment. This role requires constant communication with drivers and customers via phone and team chat to ensure loads are covered, tracked, and delivered efficiently.

Schedule

• Friday–Monday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Weekend on-call rotation required

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assign loads to drivers and manage daily dispatch operations
• Monitor freight movement and assist customers with load updates
• Coordinate pickup and delivery appointments, including directions and contact information
• Ensure driver status, dates, and delivery times are accurate and up to date
• Answer and manage incoming phone calls
• Communicate with management regarding vehicle repairs and maintenance needs
• Upload required documents to associated work orders and load files
• Work with management to resolve operational issues or concerns
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make timely decisions

Preferred Experience

• Customer service: 2 years
• Dispatch experience: 1 year

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
