Abacoa Executive Solutions has partnered with their healthcare staffing client to recruit on a newly created position for a Manager of Recruiting and Talent Development to manage and train a team of healthcare recruiters.

About the Role

The Manager of Healthcare Recruiting & Talent Development is a newly created leadership role designed to elevate the talent acquisition strategy, and strengthen recruiter performance. This leader will oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, build scalable processes, and develop the skills of the recruiting team to support rapid organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing healthcare recruiting team, ensuring consistent delivery against hiring goals.
• Build and optimize recruitment strategies, workflows, and performance metrics across all healthcare staffing verticals.
• Partner closely with operational and clinical leadership to understand workforce needs and align recruiting priorities.
• Oversee sourcing, screening, selection, and placement of qualified healthcare professionals across multiple disciplines.
• Implement talent development programs, coaching frameworks, and training initiatives to enhance recruiter capability and retention.
• Utilize data and analytics to forecast staffing needs, track performance, and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare staffing regulations, credentialing requirements, and organizational standards.
• Represent the organization professionally with candidates, clients, and internal stakeholders.
• Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high-quality candidate experience.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of staffing recruitment experience, preferably within healthcare.
• Proven leadership experience managing recruiters or staffing teams with a strong record of meeting hiring targets.
• Demonstrated success in developing recruitment strategies and improving team performance.
• Strong understanding of healthcare roles, credentialing processes, and industry compliance standards.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare staffing agencies, managed services, or high-volume clinical recruitment.
• Familiarity with ATS platforms, sourcing technologies, and recruitment analytics tools.
• Background in training, talent development, or organizational leadership.
