Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced Corporate Accounting / Consolidation professional to support our Corporate Consolidation team on a 6-month contract. This role will play a key part in supporting the financial close, consolidation processes, and Tagetik Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) implementation.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting expertise, hands-on experience with financial systems implementations, and the ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex accounting and system-related issues while collaborating with Finance, IT, and external implementation teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of Tagetik EPM, including business process design, system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validation, issue resolution, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Validate accounting results, system configurations, and reporting outputs to ensure compliance with business requirements and US GAAP.
- Partner with Finance, IT, and external consultants to troubleshoot and resolve system and process-related issues.
- Monitor and analyze intercompany journal entries in SAP and related financial systems.
- Investigate and resolve intercompany discrepancies across multiple legal entities and global operations.
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and consolidation activities.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with US GAAP.
- Maintain foreign exchange rates within accounting systems to support currency revaluation, translation, and consolidation processes.
- Develop and maintain documentation for consolidation, intercompany accounting, and financial reporting processes.
- Support quarterly and annual external reporting activities by preparing consolidation schedules and audit support documentation.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and support SOX compliance activities.
- Assist with management reporting, statutory reporting, and special accounting projects as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, including:
- Consolidation accounting
- Intercompany accounting
- Foreign currency accounting
- Topside journal entries
- Financial reporting
- Experience working with multiple legal entities and multinational corporate structures.
- Hands-on experience supporting ERP/EPM or financial systems implementations, including:
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Business process testing
- System validation
- Issue identification and resolution
- Strong understanding of end-to-end accounting processes and ability to translate business requirements into system solutions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Finance, IT, and implementation partners.
- Advanced Excel skills including:
- PivotTables
- XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP
- Data analysis and reconciliation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Tagetik EPM, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Group Reporting, or other consolidation platforms.
- Experience supporting financial transformation initiatives and system implementations.
- Experience in multinational/global accounting environments.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
