What You Will Be Doing

As a full-time, on-site Legal Assistant/Paralegal, you will be instrumental in helping clients successfully navigate life-changing immigration procedures. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Case Preparation: Preparing and processing various employment-based immigration cases for submission to USCIS, ensuring all packages are complete and error-free.
• Client Management: Conducting client interviews, handling telephone intakes, and collecting/reviewing client documents.
• Customer Service: Providing excellent, compassionate support to alleviate the stress and anxiety clients often feel during the immigration process.
• Case Tracking: Tracking and meeting all case deadlines for pending cases, and updating Tracker software and case files daily.
• Team Support: Assisting attorneys with case strategies and overflow work as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: At least 1 year of dedicated experience in employment-based U.S. immigration law.
• Culture Fit: A great sense of humor (Yes, seriously—this is a strict requirement to work here!).
• Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage strict deadlines.
• Work Setting: Ability to work on-site in our San Jose office (this is not a remote position).

Nice to Have (But Not Required)

• Fluency in a foreign language.
