Full-Time Paralegal, Family Law and Personal Injury | In Office, Las Vegas | The Grace Law Firm

The Grace Law Firm is a Las Vegas Law Firm handling personal injury and family law. The people who come to us are usually in the middle of something difficult, whether that is an injury that changed how they live and work or a family matter that has to be handled carefully and correctly. Most of them have never worked with a lawyer before. The work we do helps them move forward.

We take that responsibility seriously. We start early rather than at the deadline, and we keep the commitments we make to clients and to each other.

We are looking for an experienced paralegal who wants to be part of that kind of work. This position spans both practice areas. On the injury side that means medical records, treatment tracking, liens, and demand packages. On the family side it means financial disclosures, custody and support filings, and getting ready for hearings on the court's calendar.

Which side takes up more of the week depends on what is active that month.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, disclosures, and demand packages
• Manage filings, deadlines, and case progression across the full docket
• Request, track, and organize medical records, bills, and liens
• Prepare financial disclosures and hearing materials
• Talk with clients, providers, adjusters, experts, opposing counsel, and the court
• Keep files organized well enough that anyone in the office can pick one up without asking questions
• Support the managing attorney with calendar coordination, travel arrangements, and itineraries
• Handle administrative and personal support tasks for the managing attorney
• Complete additional tasks as assigned

WHAT MATTERS IN THIS ROLE

• Regular updates on schedule, workload, and completed work, so we keep moving without status meetings
• A committed delivery date on each assignment, along with early notice whenever a date comes under risk
• Quick adoption of new software, including the artificial intelligence tools we are testing for legal and administrative work
• Independent resolution of ordinary technology problems, including printers, scanners, file conversions, and software errors, before outside support gets involved
• The capacity to carry two caseloads with different rhythms and keep both organized

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• At least two years of paralegal experience
• A background in family law or personal injury, along with real interest in learning the other
• Familiarity with Nevada court procedures and electronic filing
• Comfort with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, filing portals, and cloud-based case management, and Clio experience is a plus
• Someone organized and dependable who takes pride in doing things well

THE DETAILS

The position is full-time in our Las Vegas office, Monday through Friday. Pay depends on experience. We offer paid holidays and paid time off.
