Experienced Legal Secretary - Litigation

Overview

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm with offices in all 50 states, is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join its Las Vegas office. This is a full-time position with flexible options, including hybrid opportunities. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of legal secretary litigation experience. Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to attorneys
• Work independently on pleadings, discovery, motion preparation, and e-discovery
• Manage case files, including case management, docketing, e-discovery, document review, and exhibit preparation
• File and serve documents in Nevada and out-of-state courts, including e-filing in state and federal courts
• Utilize knowledge of Court of Appeals procedures, Nevada and Federal Rules and Administrative Procedures
• Qualifications:*
• 3+ years of legal secretary litigation experience
• Familiarity with the State of Nevada and Federal Rules and Administrative Procedures
• Experience filing and serving in Nevada and out-of-state courts, including e-filing in state and federal courts
• Knowledge of case management, docketing, e-discovery, document review, and exhibit preparation
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products and experience using Milana calendaring program is beneficial
• Excellent analytical and written communication skills
• Highly organized, independent self-starters who can thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-intensive environment
