Scratch KC is a leading wholesale artisan bakery, supplying coffee shops, hospitals, hotels, casinos, restaurants, grocery stores, airports, and other businesses throughout the Midwest.

We're looking for a Client Growth Manager to become the face of Scratch KC for our local customers.

This isn't a desk job. You'll spend much of your time visiting clients, building relationships, helping businesses grow, solving problems, improving merchandising, introducing new products, and ensuring every customer has an exceptional experience with Scratch KC.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
• Visit customer locations throughout the Kansas City area (approximately a two-hour radius).
• Help customers grow their pastry and bakery sales through new products, merchandising, and seasonal promotions.
• Train new customers on our ordering process and product offerings.
• Ensure displays are well-stocked, organized, and presented professionally.
• Coordinate seasonal menu launches and customer communications.
• Handle customer questions, concerns, and service issues with professionalism and urgency.Identify new business opportunities while visiting existing accounts and generate qualified leads for our sales team.
• Work closely with leadership, production, sales, delivery, and marketing to ensure every customer receives exceptional service.

What We're Looking For

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Friendly, outgoing, and professional personality.
• Self-motivated and organized.Passion for hospitality and customer service.
• Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule.
• Business development or account management experience is a plus.
• Experience in hospitality, restaurants, hotels, coffee, foodservice, catering, retail, or customer success is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and a reliable, clean, well-maintained personal vehicle.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm
• Additional times as special needs/travel may arise
• Weekly Management Meeting (Wednesdays at 1:00 PM)
• Weekly Office Meeting (Tuesdays)
• Monthly All-Staff Meeting (First Tuesday of each month)
