Job Summary - Why you’ll love this position
The Missouri Department of Mental Health (DMH) – Human Resources, seeks a dynamic professional to serve as Regional Recruiter. In this pivotal role, you will lead localized talent acquisition efforts across multiple DMH facilities within a designated region, driving high-volume recruitment for clinical, administrative, and support roles while aligning with statewide strategies.
This position reports to the Head of Talent Acquisition and is based in the western region within the state of Missouri.
As a boots-on-the-ground leader in regional talent strategies, you’ll make a tangible impact on DMH’s mission by building diverse, resilient teams that enhance mental health services in communities across Missouri. You’ll collaborate closely with facility leaders, recruiters, and the central HR team to innovate recruitment processes and foster inclusive hiring practices.
This role offers the opportunity to develop expertise in regional workforce planning, stakeholder partnerships, and data-driven talent solutions.
The base salary offered for this position is up to $70,000.08 annually, commensurate with education and experience. If the selected candidate is eligible for a pay differential, such as retention pay, the total salary may exceed what is listed in this posting.

Qualifications - All you need for success
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Public Administration, or a closely related field, plus 3-5 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment. Relevant experience in healthcare or government settings may substitute for education on a case-by-case basis.
Lack of post-secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.
