Danco Roofing Services, Inc.
We are looking for the right individual to be a part of our small department, which has a large scope. This position is being advertised as Bookkeeper as you will be performing a multi-part role while supporting the Controller. Our core values should align easily with a person in the accounting field: Respect, Teamwork, Honesty, and Accountability.
We operate on SAGE Intacct, but if you have experience with another system, roles are pretty interchangeable from platform to platform. You will be provided with training and SOPs to perform your data entry role.
Accounts Receivable
Accounts Payable, including Job Costing
General Ledger: support month end close including reconciliation of bank and credit
card accounts; JE entries
Assist with Inventory management
Assist with special projects
As a team member, backup for answering incoming phone calls
This may seem like a lot for this in-office role! We have two departments, the larger of which has few monthly transactions of significant dollar amounts each, which significantly reduces the volume of AR and AP transactions relative to our annual sales volume.
High School degree a must, Accounting degree a plus
Minimum 5 years in one or more of the job components a plus
The platform is SAGE Intacct, but skills should be transferrable
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Strong organizational and time management skills while being detail oriented
Having operated in a similar role a plus
Construction industry experience a plus
In-office position, hour M-F 8am-4:30pm. Office casual dress.

Roofing? No, you won’t be on a roof. You will be interacting with our service and sales teams with our valued customers to keep their buildings, contents, employees and their customers free of exterior water.
Important. You will be an important member of our team and you will help with the transition to a new CRM software platform.
Team. You will be a valued member of our Team environment. We coordinate as a team and have group functions together to enhance our atmosphere. We are developing a five year plan which involves significant growth for the company, and our teams.
