Role Description

The Do317 Content Intern will assist in creating, managing, and curating engaging content for Do317's platforms, including the website, social media channels, and daily newsletter. Responsibilities include researching local events and activities, writing event descriptions, updating event listings, and contributing to social media content.

This internship is a hybrid role based in Indianapolis, IN, offering a mix of remote and in-person work. While this internship is unpaid, you will attend a variety of events throughout the internship and be compensated in ways other than monetary compensation (based on performance).

Qualifications

• Strong Communication and Writing skills
• Experience in Web Content Writing and Content Management
• Proficiency in developing and implementing Content Strategies
• Interest in culture, events, and community engagement in Indianapolis
• Ability to meet deadlines, stay organized, and work both independently and collaboratively
• Experience using content management systems or similar tools is a plus
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Journalism, Digital Marketing, or a related field
• Based in Indianapolis, IN, with reliable transportation
