Bookkeeper

Vaco Indianapolis has partnered with a client on the west side of Indianapolis in search of a Bookkeeper to handle multi-client bookkeeping. This is a full time, direct hire position that will be working onsite.

Core Responsibilities

• Maintain financial transactions accurately in accounting software (i.e. QuickBooks Online, Sage, etc)
• Perform monthly reconciliations of bank & credit card accounts
• Prepare & post journal entries as needed
• Generate financial reports, such as profit & loss statements and balance sheets
• Maintain organized financial documents for audits and compliance
• Maintain books in condition to be ready for preparation of tax returns
• Support payroll reconciliations and assist with sales tax filings as needed
