About the FCA
The FCA regulates the conduct of 45,000 firms in the UK to ensure our financial markets are honest, fair and competitive. Follow this link to find out more About the FCA.
Our Business and Technology Solutions Division (BTS) is at the forefront to transform the FCA into a data‑led regulator, and our work enables the FCA to effectively regulate some of the UK’s most complex financial markets.
BTS comprises a range of teams and disciplines. Our Divisional Service Teams (DST) work closely with business areas to deliver key business change, including technology, regulation, and process improvements.
DSTs are made up key change disciplines such as project management, business change, and architecture. Our Product Groups play a key role in the delivery and running of systems and services. Product Groups combine engineering, testing, service transition, and technical architecture capabilities.
The postholder will have the opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects, which help to build trust in our financial markets, and make a positive impact to the lives of vulnerable consumers. Our data‑focussed initiatives are introducing machine learning and powerful search capabilities to optimise our use of data, so that we can more proactively address potential consumer harm.
Through new systems and process, the projects will lead to the enabling of the UK financial industry to meet its legal obligations and improving outcomes for consumers and markets.
