Bigham Road Medical Centre is looking to recruit a friendly, organised and professional Medical Receptionist to join our welcoming and supportive practice team.
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in creating a positive experience by providing a high standard of customer service and ensuring the smooth running of our busy reception. You will be responsible for managing appointments, handling patient enquiries, processing administrative tasks and supporting our clinical team to deliver safe, effective patient care.
This is a 30-hour per week position, worked on a rota basis between 7:45am and 6:30pm, Monday to Friday, so flexibility is essential.
Whether you already have experience working in general practice or have strong customer service and administrative skills from another sector, we would love to hear from you. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.

The Medical Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients and visitors attending Bigham Road Medical Centre. The post holder will provide a professional, friendly and efficient reception and administrative service, ensuring patients receive a high standard of customer care while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
The successful candidate will work as part of a small, supportive team and will be expected to maintain confidentiality, communicate effectively and work flexibly to meet the needs of the practice.
