Identity is one of the hardest unsolved problems in advertising. Publishers are drowning in signal loss and the industry is patching holes with a dozen incompatible identity solutions. At Optable, we're building the infrastructure that lets publishers, platforms, and brands collaborate on audience data securely, transparently, and at scale.

As a Product Manager for Identity, you'll be building the features that make that possible.

Reporting to the Director of Product (Identity), you'll own requirements and delivery for identity-related features. You will work with multiple engineering teams and across the infrastructure that powers how Optable resolves, enriches, and activates audiences for publishers and advertisers. This is a deeply technical PM role with direct customer exposure.

You'll be in the details: debugging integrations, writing specs, working escalations, and turning what you learn into a better product.

If you want a clean backlog and well-defined requirements handed to you, this isn't the role for you. If you want to build something technically hard that actually matters to publishers, we want to talk to you.

What you will do

• Ship features that work. Own delivery from inception through release. Refine requirements based on feedback from customers and Engineering teams. Understand the constraints well enough to make smart tradeoffs, know when to push and when to adapt.
• Lead cross-functionally. Partner daily with engineering, data science, design, and GTM teams. Translate customer pain and market signals into features and requirements. Communicate directly with Enterprise customers to shape requirements that reflect their needs.
• Go deep on customer issues. Own escalations. Debug integrations. Understand why something isn't working and help get it fixed. Then turn that fix into a permanent solution.
• Write clearly. Produce specs that the Engineering team can ship from. Write documentation that makes customers self-sufficient. Help the GTM team tell a compelling story about what we're building and why it matters.

Qualifications

• Product Experience: 2+ years of product management, ideally in adtech, media, data platforms, or technically complex B2B SaaS. Or you're a software engineer with 3+ years of experience, including time as a tech lead or in a cross-functional coordination role. In either case you’ve shipped well-scoped features reliably across a multi-tenant platform and know how to manage ambiguity in data-intensive domains.
• AdTech Fluency: Working knowledge of advertising technology — ad servers, Prebid, DMPs, first-party data, identity resolution, and SSPs/DSPs.
• Technical Comfort: Working knowledge of technical terms and Engineering tools such as Github. Experience with ticketing systems such as Jira or ClickUP. Strong ability to write product technical documentation.
• AI Fluency: You will be expected to use AI extensively in your work to rapidly create a high quality work product. You know how to guide it, catch where it goes wrong, and take the output somewhere it couldn't get on its own.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communicator who synthesizes customer feedback into actionable requirements and produces specs with enough detail for Engineering and Solutions teams to run with.
• Self directed: Can take a project and run with it.
• Location & Travel: Must be based in North America and willing to travel on a regular basis to visit customers and the Montreal office or ideally be located in the Montreal area.
