Part-time Bartender

Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Part-time Bartender to join our vibrant team. Prior experience in food and beverage service, particularly in a restaurant or bar setting, is preferred. The position offers flexible hours perfect for those looking to supplement their income while working in a lively atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards.
• Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately, including processing payments via POS systems.
• Ensure responsible serving practices by monitoring guest alcohol consumption and adhering to legal requirements.
• Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with opening or closing duties.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy hours, demonstrating strong time management skills.
• Uphold all health and safety regulations related to food safety, food service, and alcohol service.

Requirements

• Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating tabs accurately.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
• Ability to serve alcohol responsibly following all legal regulations.
• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification prior to employment is a plus.
• Must be at least 21 years old (or age required by local laws).
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
