About the Role

We’re looking for a Director of Product Management to lead and scale our product management function across multiple product lines. In this role, you’ll be responsible for setting product vision, aligning strategy with business goals, and empowering a team of product managers to deliver solutions that delight our higher education customers.

You’ll partner closely with executive leadership, engineering, and design to bring innovative SaaS products to life.

The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and an empathetic leader — someone who can inspire teams, foster collaboration, and ensure execution that drives measurable impact. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on balancing big-picture vision with the practical steps required to make it real in a dynamic, fully remote environment.

This role is remote-friendly with flexibility. We prefer candidates who can work in our Lehi, UT office at least once a week, but we are also open to exceptional remote candidates who can travel to Lehi more frequently for key team meetings and collaboration.

What you’ll be responsible for

• Defining and communicating product strategy across multiple product lines, ensuring alignment with Kuali’s mission and business goals.
• Building, mentoring, and scaling a talented team of product managers, creating an environment where teams make strong decisions and learn quickly from outcomes.
• Partnering with executive leadership, sales, and marketing to shape vision, pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
• Leading discovery and research efforts with customers, end users, and analysts to guide product direction.
• Prioritizing features and managing product roadmaps to deliver measurable customer and business value.
• Collaborating closely with engineering and design leadership to deliver innovative SaaS solutions for higher education.

• Leading product management teams in SaaS companies.
• Serving higher education or similar mission-driven industries
• Building and scaling enterprise SaaS products from vision through go-to-market launch.
• Research administration, academic operations, or other higher ed technology domains.
• Defining go-to-market strategy in collaboration with sales and marketing.
• Using metrics to analyze team health and product success.
• Representing products externally through conferences, writing, or thought leadership.
