HR Coordinator

Our Client, is seeking an experienced HR Coordinator with 5+ years of experience. The successful candidate is offered a competitive salary with a comprehensive benefits package including paid parking and hybrid work after 3 months. English fluency in speaking, reading and writing is a must.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation
• Partner with hiring managers to define selection criteria and understand the talent needs
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, networking, and talent pipelines
• Conduct candidate screenings and interviews to assess qualifications and potential
• Coordinate and facilitate interview processes, ensuring a smooth and professional candidate experience
• Monitor recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, quality of hire, etc.) and recommend process improvements
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies throughout the hiring process
• Build and maintain talent pools for current and future hiring needs
• Support employer branding initiatives to attract high-quality candidates
• Proactive presence on social media to build a talent pool and pipeline with active outreach to possible future talent
• In support of continuous quality improvement, review and make recommendations to enhance communication practices and stay on top of current communications and market trends
• Other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

• Required Minimum Qualifications:
• Business diploma with a preference for specialization in Human Resources
• 5 years of related experience, including 2 years in recruitment
• Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
• Advanced interpersonal and communication skills
• Organization and prioritization skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Microsoft Office 365
• Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
• Customer-service focused and able to effectively communicate with multiple internal and external partners
• A broad range of human resources and recruiting knowledge. Working knowledge of both provincial and federal labour law and regulations, and privacy legislation is an asset.
