Part-Time Front Office Assistant

Do you enjoy helping people, staying organized, and working in a fast-paced environment where every day is different?

Good News Auto is looking for a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented individual to join our front office team three days per week (Monday, Wednesday & Friday to start).

You’ll work alongside our leadership team, helping keep the office running smoothly while providing an exceptional experience for our customers.

No automotive experience is necessary—we’ll teach you everything you need to know.

Schedule

• Part-time
• Monday, Wednesday & Friday (to start)
• 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• No evenings or weekends

Responsibilities

As part of our front office team, you’ll receive on-the-job training while assisting with a variety of administrative and customer service responsibilities, including:

• Greeting customers as they arrive
• Answering incoming phone calls
• Booking customer appointments
• Assisting with customer estimates
• Processing parts returns
• Filing supplier invoices and paperwork
• Helping keep the front office clean and organized
• Taking loaner vehicles for car washes or detailing
• Assisting with front counter coverage during busy periods
• Supporting our Service Advisors with day-to-day administrative tasks
• Some office cleaning as needed
• Other duties as required

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is

• Friendly, positive, and enjoys working with people
• Organized with excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable learning new computer software
• A strong communicator with excellent English skills
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• A self-starter who takes initiative
• Comfortable working as part of a close-knit team
• Able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Holds a valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driving record
• Has reliable transportation
