Receptionist / Admin Assistant

An Edmonton client is seeking a Receptionist / Admin Assistant to join their team.

Receptionist / Admin Assistant Highlights

• Answer and direct incoming phone calls and manage messages professionally
• Monitor and respond to “info” and “reception” email accounts in a timely manner
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and distribute correspondence as needed
• Maintain and update staff vacation and travel calendars
• Track and order office supplies (e.g., printer cartridges, coffee, general supplies)
• Keep kitchen and office spaces clean and organized throughout the week
• Place weekly grocery orders to ensure the office is stocked with essentials
• Support overall office operations to maintain a professional and efficient environment

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks including phones, emails, and calendars
• Customer service-oriented with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience managing office supplies preferred

Hours & Wage

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• $19 – $20/hour
• Contract position
• 30-minute lunch break
• Business casual dress code (jeans allowed, no rips or holes)
• Start Date: ASAP
