We're looking for a Senior BI Analyst – Team Lead to drive business intelligence strategy, lead a high-performing analytics team, and deliver actionable insights that influence commercial decision-making across the business.

What You'll Be Doing
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Business Intelligence Analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Manage workload allocation, quality assurance, and ongoing professional development within the team.
- Act as the trusted data partner to senior stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, and Operations.
- Establish and maintain best practices for data governance, reporting standards, and documentation.
Business Intelligence & Analytics
- Design, develop, and maintain automated dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions that support key business decisions.
- Deliver commercial insights through weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting.
- Monitor business performance by analysing key commercial and operational KPIs.
- Produce high-quality reports, dashboards, and presentations for both internal stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Identify trends, opportunities, and business risks through advanced data analysis.
Data Engineering & Automation
- Develop and maintain robust SQL queries, automated reporting pipelines, and scalable data workflows.
- Build reliable data processes that improve reporting accuracy while reducing manual intervention.
- Ensure data integrity through validation, cleansing, and quality assurance processes.
- Drive the implementation of self-service reporting solutions that enable business users to access trusted data independently.
Data Science & Advanced Analytics
- Support the evolution of the analytics function by applying predictive modelling and statistical techniques to solve business challenges.
- Develop models focused on forecasting, customer behaviour, pricing optimisation, anomaly detection, and business performance.
- Collaborate with technical teams to integrate machine learning models into production environments where appropriate.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years' experience within Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Data Science.
- Previous experience leading or mentoring analysts within a collaborative team environment.
- Expert-level SQL skills with proven experience developing automated reporting pipelines.
- Strong experience with Python, Tableau, Apache Superset, or similar business intelligence and visualisation platforms.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis, data modelling, and business analytics principles.
- Exposure to machine learning techniques such as clustering, forecasting, classification, anomaly detection, or predictive modelling will be highly advantageous.
- Experience working with large datasets and transforming complex business requirements into actionable insights.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline is preferred.
- Experience within digital platforms, technology, automotive, property, or online marketplace environments would be advantageous.
