Finance & Operations Analyst

Company Description Compose Finance is a stablecoin infrastructure platform that powers fiat and crypto transactions for businesses and their customers. The company enables sending, receiving, and converting EUR, USD, AED, and stablecoins through dedicated named virtual IBANs.

Role Description This is a full-time Finance & Operations Analyst role based in the City of Cape Town. The Finance & Operations Analyst will manage daily financial operations, including transaction reconciliations and reporting related to fiat and stablecoin activities. The role includes analysing operational data to improve processes, support risk management, and ensure accuracy in accounting and finance records.

The analyst will collaborate with internal teams to resolve operational issues and contribute to the design of scalable workflows.

Qualifications

• CA (SA), with Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; experience in fintech, payments, or crypto is a plus.
• Solid finance and accounting knowledge, with experience in financial operations, auditing, or fintech-related financial workflows.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret financial and operational data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Customer service mindset, with the ability to support internal and external stakeholders and respond to operational queries in a timely manner.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets; exposure to BI tools is an advantage).
