We are seeking a Senior Wealth Management Administrator to take ownership of complex investment administration, ensure compliance excellence, and support the development of the administrative function.

Role Overview

This is a senior, technical administration role requiring strong experience in investments, platforms and compliance.

You will act as a subject matter expert, manage complex cases, support advisors, and mentor junior administrators while ensuring all client records and transactions are accurate and fully compliant.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Advanced Investment & Risk Administration

• Process complex transactions including platform transfers, RA’s, preservation funds and living annuities
• Manage high-value and restructuring transactions
• Review and quality check all submissions before provider submission
• Handle escalations with platforms, insurers and providers

Client & Advisor Support

• Prepare detailed review packs and portfolio summaries
• Support advisors with implementation and proposals
• Liaise with high-net-worth clients where required

Compliance & Quality Control (FICA & FAIS)

• Ensure all client files are audit-ready and compliant
• Review FICA documentation and regulatory requirements
• Maintain compliance registers and support audits

Mentorship & Workflow Coordination

• Guide and support junior administrators
• Assist with task allocation and workflow prioritisation
• Act as escalation point for complex queries

Operational Support

• Maintain reporting dashboards and registers
• Identify and implement process improvements

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Requirements

• 5–7 years’ experience in wealth management / investment administration
• Strong exposure to investment platforms and financial products

Advantageous

• Qualification in Finance / Wealth Management
• RE5 or strong FAIS exposure
• Experience on platforms such as Allan Gray, Glacier, Ninety One, Momentum, Sanlam, Discovery etc.
