Paralegal

Act as a key support to the Head of Legal, serving as a trusted second-in-command across legal, compliance, and governance matters. Support the Head of Legal across legal, compliance, governance, and risk management activities, acting as a trusted second-in-command. Draft, review, administer, and maintain commercial contracts, agreements, employment documentation, and legal correspondence.

Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, company policies, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate incident management, insurance claims, dispute resolution, litigation matters, and risk-mitigation initiatives. Support HR compliance processes, including statutory submissions, UIF administration, visa applications, disciplinary matters, and employee relations documentation.

Draft employment contracts, remuneration amendments, employee correspondence, and other HR-related documentation. Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, induction, and offboarding processes. Administer employee benefits, leave records, payroll-related submissions, attendance reporting, and HR reporting requirements.

Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries, providing professional, confidential, and solutions-focused support. Oversee general office administration, including expenditure approvals, contractor compliance documentation, office maintenance, and supplier coordination. Ensure adherence to Health & Safety requirements and support the management of office facilities and operational requirements.

Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programmes, work anniversaries, birthdays, and staff events.
