The Candidate must reside/live-in the Greater Victoria Area.

Job Description

The Inside Sales is responsible for the sales and supports the local marine industry by providing knowledgeable, technical, and helpful sales support, while building positive relationships with customers and suppliers.

A typical day may include but not restricted to

• Determining customer needs and finding the right product to meet their requirements.
• Sourcing specialty items for customers.
• Continually developing industry and product knowledge to enhance client service.
• Sharing knowledge and cross training with other employees.

Required Qualifications and Abilities

• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in a retail environment, with technical inside/counter sales experience preferred.
• Marine product and maintenance knowledge would be considered a strong asset.
• Strong drive to provide excellent customer service.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as effectively within a small team.
• High degree of attention to detail and accuracy and commitment to exceeding quality standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to work on your feet and carry up to 45 lbs.
