The company has developed a fire protection solution for the aviation sector, gaining traction across defence, aerospace, and commercial aviation markets. The technology is helping organisations address evolving environmental requirements while protecting critical aviation assets.

This is a genuine market-entry opportunity. As the first boots on the ground in ANZ, you will be responsible for turning early market traction into a long-term commercial presence. Working independently, you will build strategic relationships, create new opportunities, and establish the foundations for sustained regional growth.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on business development role focused on creating opportunities, building relationships, and driving long-term commercial value.

You will engage with key stakeholders across:

• Defence organisations and government stakeholders
• Airlines and airport operators
• Aviation infrastructure providers
• Engineering consultancies
• Contractors and strategic partners
• The role will involve navigating complex sales cycles, engaging multiple decision-makers, and building credibility with technical and executive audiences.

Success will come from your ability to identify opportunities, influence key stakeholders, and develop trusted relationships in industries where adoption requires patience, technical understanding, and strategic thinking.

You Will Have

• A proven track record of developing new markets and winning business through relationship-led business development
• Experience selling complex engineered or technical solutions through long sales cycles
• The ability to build trusted relationships with engineering, commercial, government, and executive stakeholders
• Strong technical aptitude and commercial judgment
• A true hunter mentality with the resilience to create opportunities rather than manage an existing pipeline
• The ability to operate independently with a high level of ownership and accountability
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout Australia and New Zealand
