The Opportunity

We're looking for a Business Development Manager to join our NSW team and take ownership of both growing our footprint and looking after the customers who already trust us. It's a role that sits at the intersection of hunting new business and stewarding enterprise accounts — you'll need to be equally comfortable opening a door that's never been opened and managing a complex, high-value relationship that's been years in the making.

You'll be working with enterprise-level solutions, complex system designs, and a portfolio that includes some of our most significant customers.

Day to Day, You'll Be:

• Growing relationships with consultants, builders, specifiers, and designers across the industry
• Identifying and chasing new opportunities in territories or accounts where EOS doesn't yet have a foothold
• Building and running a regional business development plan that's built to hit — and beat — revenue targets
• Running demonstrations and presentations for both current and prospective clients
• Managing the day-to-day of major projects — coordination, administration, and everything in between
• Assessing which products genuinely fit a given project or system design
• Keeping an honest, well-organised pipeline and forecast

What You'll Bring

• Essential:A minimum of 3 years in technical sales and business development — ideally in IT or electronics security
• Comfort with indirect sales models and solution-based selling
• Working knowledge of IP-based technologies, networking, and security hardware/software
• You'll also need:
• The initiative to spot and chase an opportunity
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
• The communication and presentation skills to hold a room, technical or otherwise
• Solid time management
• Enough product and industry knowledge to speak credibly with technical buyers
• The ability to actually close — and manage what happens after the sale
