Position Overview

We are seeking a Staff Accountant with a degree in Accounting to join our finance team. In this role, you will continue to gain hands-on experience in various accounting functions and contribute to the overall financial health of the company. You will be responsible for preparing journal entries, assisting with the month-end close process, and handling accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
• Manage reconciliations.
• Assist with 990 preparation.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheets and general ledger accounts.
• Handle accounts payable (AP) tasks, including verifying and processing invoices.
• Manage accounts receivable (AR) activities, such as billing, collections, and processing payments.
• Assist with preparing financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles.
• Collaborate with the finance team to support overall department goals and objectives.
• Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
