We are seeking an entry-level Staff Accountant to join our team. This will be a unique opportunity to grow your career by developing your accounting expertise in a fast-changing software environment. Ideally, we’re looking for:

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field (Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics).
• Proficient in Excel and possess a working knowledge of accounting concepts.
• Experience with various accounting and operations software platforms a plus (such as cloud-based accounting tools like Xero and ​QuickBooks ​Online).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Client-centric interactions and problem solving.
• Answer and resolve all client questions/inquiries in a timely fashion.
• Handle general accounting tasks across multiple clients; including bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance/bookkeeping, balance sheet reconciliations, accounts payable management, preparing financial statements.
• Oversee a high volume of bank and credit card transactions.
• Research and resolve client issues as they arise.
• Maintain strict client confidentiality.
• Manage a portfolio of approximately 16-20 clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of monthly financial statements.
