Fixed Asset Accountant – Hybrid / Boston, MA

Our client, a large organization, is seeking a Fixed Asset Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, asset accounting activities, and ongoing system-related initiatives. This role will assist with financial reporting, reconciliations, data analysis, audit support, and process improvements while partnering with internal stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fixed asset records and process asset-related accounting transactions.
• Prepare account reconciliations and support financial reporting activities.
• Analyze accounting data and investigate variances or discrepancies.
• Assist with capital project and asset tracking activities.
• Support system implementations, data validation, and testing efforts.
• Contribute to month-end close activities and other general accounting responsibilities.
• Assist with process improvements and ongoing accounting initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of fixed asset accounting experience and 5+ years of general accounting experience.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion required.
• Experience with PeopleSoft preferred but not required.
