Accountant - Up to $80k + bonusOur client, a well-established construction services company, is hiring an Accountant to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work directly with the CFO, who is planning to retire in the coming years, providing strong mentorship and long-term growth potential.

The ideal candidate will have experience in construction accounting, project accounting, or work-in-process (WIP) accounting. ****100% Onsite with flexibility

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day accounting activities, including general accounting and accounts payable.
• Support work-in-process (WIP) accounting and project-related financial reporting.
• Process vendor invoices and maintain accurate financial records.
• Reconcile accounts and assist with month-end close activities.
• Partner with the CFO and accounting team on various accounting projects and cross-functional initiatives.
• Gain exposure to multiple areas of the business through cross-training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Accounting experience required; construction or project accounting experience preferred.

Familiarity with Work-in-Process (WIP) accounting is a plus.

Accounts Payable experience preferred; Accounts Receivable experience is a bonus.

Experience with Sage, TimberScan, and/or Procore is highly preferred.

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a willingness to learn.

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
