San Francisco, CA | $70,000–$80,000 Base + Bonus & Benefits | Hybrid

Our client, a well-established organization with a stable and collaborative team, is seeking an entry-level Staff Accountant to join its San Francisco office. This role sits on the fund accounting side of the business and will interface closely with the family office team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Accounting graduate looking to build a strong foundation in fund accounting, gain hands-on experience, and grow within a supportive environment. What You’ll Do

• Monitor and review cash accounts.
• Track operating expenses and investment activity.
• Track investments and maintain accurate investment records.
• Monitor funds and notify the team of relevant fund activity.
• Assist with capital calls.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close processes.
• Assist with financial reporting and related deliverables.
• Interface with the family office team on fund accounting matters.
• Support the independent financial audit from January through April.
• Assist with additional accounting projects and responsibilities as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Recent graduate with a degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Up to 1 year of post-graduation experience; candidates with less experience are encouraged to apply.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy.
• Coachable, eager to learn, and open to developing new skills.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative.
• Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
• Exposure to QuickBooks and Excel preferred.
• Comfortable working with documents and PDFs.
• Strong organizational skills and consistent follow-through.
• Interest in developing a career in fund accounting.

Schedule and Location

Hybrid schedule based in San Francisco, CA, with an expectation of being in the office 3–4 days per week.

Compensation

The expected salary range is $70,000–$80,000 base, to be confirmed, depending on experience and qualifications.
