Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the hygiene solutions sector.
• Develop relationships with hospitals, hotels, shopping centres and government buyers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
• Generate and manage a healthy sales pipeline using CRM systems (Odoo).
• Conduct market research and analyse competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver product presentations and demonstrations to prospective customers.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and secure profitable business partnerships.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales records using CRM and Excel.
• Develop product knowledge and provide market intelligence to support business growth.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to execute business development strategies.A successful Business Development Manager should have:3 to 5 years of business development or sales experience.
• Experience within hygiene solutions and cleaning products, or related industries preferred.
• Strong prospecting and pipeline-building skills
• Experience with cleaning chemicals and in hospitality or healthcare sectors
• Good understanding of the Australian market and customer landscape.
• Experience managing customer relationships and developing new business opportunities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CRM systems (Odoo experience preferred).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently from a home office.
