Classic
A clean single-column layout with emerald section headings. The safest all-round pick: every ATS parses it perfectly, and it works for any role from graduate to director.
Use this templateStraightforward, solid formats for electricians, technicians, mechanics, and drivers. Licenses and tickets first, no fluff.
For trades roles, the resume has one job: prove you are qualified, licensed, and safe, fast. Recruiters and site managers check tickets and certifications before anything else, then years on the tools, then the kinds of sites and equipment you have worked with. Decoration adds nothing; missing license details cost interviews.
The three templates here are deliberately simple. Big clear headings, a dedicated certifications section for your tickets and cards, and clean parsing for the job boards and agency systems most trades hiring runs through. Fill one in and download the PDF free.
A clean single-column layout with emerald section headings. The safest all-round pick: every ATS parses it perfectly, and it works for any role from graduate to director.
Use this templateA crisp single-column design with a navy accent stripe. Reads as corporate and confident, ideal for sales, finance, and operations roles at established companies.
Use this templateAn ultra-clean grayscale template with zero decoration. Maximum readability and perfect ATS parsing, favored for engineering, legal, and finance applications.
Use this templateThe classic recruiter-safe format: centered serif header, understated rules, no color. The Harvard style is the default choice for consulting, law, academia, and any conservative industry.
Use this templateYour licenses and tickets, with numbers and expiry dates: trade certification, safety cards, driving licenses and classes, equipment tickets. Put them in their own section right after your summary. Then list experience with the site types, systems, and equipment you worked on.
One page is usually right, two at most for a long career. List recent roles with a few concrete lines each: what you installed, maintained, or operated, at what scale, and with what safety record. Older or short jobs can be one line. Simple and complete beats long.
