Two Column
A modern two-column layout with your skills shown as pill tags in the side rail. Packs more into one page, great for sales, marketing, and operations resumes.
Use this templateSidebar and two-column layouts that fit more on one page: skills, links, and contact details in the rail, your experience front and center.
A two-column resume solves a real problem: you have more relevant material than a single column fits on one page. Moving skills, tools, languages, and contact details into a side rail frees the main column for the experience bullets that actually win interviews, and the visual structure helps a recruiter scan the whole page in seconds.
The trade-off is ATS parsing. Simple, well-built two-column layouts like these parse far better than table-based designs from word processors, but if you are submitting into a strict corporate portal, consider one of our ATS-friendly single-column templates instead. When a human reads the file first, a two-column design is often the stronger impression.

Use this templateUsually, if they are built properly. These templates use real text in a clean structure rather than invisible tables, which is what breaks most home-made two-column resumes. That said, single-column layouts are still the most reliably parsed, so for large-company portals we recommend a template from our ATS-friendly page.
Short, scannable items: skills, tools, certifications, languages, links, and contact details. Keep full sentences and achievement bullets in the main column where recruiters expect to read them. If your sidebar is filling up with paragraphs, the content belongs in the main column instead.
