Position Summary

To assist in daily operation of vessel accounting, AR/AP, monitoring, and arranging inter-company fund transfer and preparation of whole set accounts.

Key

Roles and Responsibilities

• Handling of Vessel Accounting
• Knowledge of Portage Bill Accounting
• Raising Fund Requests to owners and monitoring receipts
• Preparing the full set of vessel reports with supporting
• Co-ordinate with other functions to complete the reports in time.
• Scrutiny of vessel reports and reply to any queries from Vessel Owners
• Help in Reconciliation of inter-company vessels balances
• Ad hoc assignment in supporting of finance & accounts department
• Provide MIS data related to Vessel reports to immediate supervisor/ head office
• Assist in SOX audits
• Relationship
• INTERNAL:Communicate with various Fleet Offices and departments
• Hong Kong finance team on inter-company transactions
• EXTERNAL:Auditors – assist in providing supporting and audit schedules to auditors in year-end audit
• Communicate with Accounts Team at Vessel Owner’s office

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience with solid accounting knowledge on Vessel Reports handling independently
• Graduate or Higher diploma in Accountancy/ business or equivalent background
