Role Overview
TestReach is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Technical Project Manager to join our team to drive for optimal Technical Delivery.
In this role, the Senior Technical Project Manager will primarily focus on driving delivery excellence within the Product & Engineering department, owning large technical projects, cross-team process improvement initiatives, leading as a change agent, measuring the impact of change initiatives and using data to guide decision-making.
They will lead in the use of key metrics such as OKRs and KPIs to track progress and demonstrate the value of change initiatives, using strong influencing skills. They will be the conduit between Product & Engineering and the wider business liaising closely with the PMO.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership & Delivery
- Flow of Work: Aligning with our engineering teams to develop into an expert point of contact for them, managing the interdependencies and flow of all work across multiple teams.
- End-to-End Execution: Lead the planning and execution of complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects.
- Dependency Management: Identify and resolve bottlenecks between Product, Engineering and the wider business teams.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify technical and timeline risks, developing clear mitigation strategies.
- Process Improvement & Efficiency
- Workflow Optimization: Audit and refine existing Lean/Agile/ principles and processes to reduce friction and increase velocity.
- Tooling Advocacy: Ensure project management tools are optimized for engineering needs without sacrificing reporting clarity.
- Best Practices: Champion documentation standards and post-mortem cultures to ensure continuous learning and continuous improvement.
- Metrics, KPIs, & OKRsData-Driven Insights: Define, track, and report on key engineering metrics (e.g., Cycle Time, Deployment Frequency, Sprint Burndown).
- Goal Alignment: Translate high-level company OKRs into actionable engineering KPIs.
- Performance Reporting: Create dashboards and monthly reports for leadership that provide a transparent view of project health and resource allocation.
- Stakeholder Management & PMO Liaison
- Bridge the Gap: Act as the primary point of contact between the Product & Engineering department and the Central PMO.Strategic Alignment: Ensure engineering roadmaps are synced with broader product visions and business milestones.
- Resource Planning: Collaborate with Product & Engineering leadership to ensure the right talent is assigned to the highest-priority initiatives.

Qualifications
- Experience:6+ years’ technical project management experience, with 10+ years industry experience preferably with an engineering background
- Proven Experience in Lean and Agile Methodologies (Lean, Kanban, Scrum and other Agile frameworks to optimize workflow and minimize waste)
- Strong understanding of the SDLC preferably in a SaaS environment.
- Adept at driving incremental change, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Experience with setting, measuring, and driving Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to align project outcomes with organisational goals.
- Ability to grasp complex technical issues and make informed decisions.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and guide a Product & Engineering department
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and challenges
- Experience using Jira to track projects and document processes is advantageous
- A strong background in knowledge sharing and working collaboratively with small teams
- Excellent spoken and written English with an exceptional ability to translate technical constraints into business impact for non-technical stakeholders.
- Desirable
- Experience in EdTech, assessment / testing platforms, workflow software, or regulated digital products.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree is advantageous.
