Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – R&D to lead cross-functional engineering teams in delivering complex product development projects from concept through to production.

The successful candidate will manage project schedules, risks, resources, budgets, and stakeholder communication while ensuring delivery within agreed timelines, scope, and quality standards. The role requires strong project management expertise, technical understanding, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, quality, manufacturing, and supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage R&D product development projects from concept to production.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, manufacturing, and supply chain.
• Manage project plans, schedules, risks, budgets, issues, and change control.
• Drive structured project management processes, including stage-gate reviews.
• Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Support product validation, testing, certification, and regulatory compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes.
• Qualifications & Experience
• Degree qualification in Engineering, Science, Technology, or related discipline.8+ years’ experience in project management, ideally within electronics, engineering, or product development.
• Experience managing complex, cross-functional technical projects.
• Familiarity with structured project methodologies (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum desirable).
• Experience in regulated industries such as electronics, medical devices, aerospace, or industrial products.

Technical Skills

• Experience or knowledge of:
• Electronic hardware and embedded software development.
• Mechanical product design.
• Product testing, validation, and certification.
• IoT/cloud-connected products.PLM and project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Monday.com, or similar).
