Role overview

As Marketing Manager you will be lead all local marketing initiatives while working closely with our global marketing team to ensure a cohesive and elevated brand presence.

You will develop and execute pre-opening strategies, collaborate with local brand partners, and work alongside the Sales team to drive revenue and engagement at our Sydney location.

Main Responsibilities

• Strategy, Leadership & Planning
• Developing a comprehensive marketing strategy for the newest opening for Chotto Matte Sydney
• Executing the wider Australian strategies, including press, digital media, sales and events
• Creating and delivering a clear critical path for new openings tailored to the new region
• Leading all pre-opening marketing initiatives, including go-to-market strategy, launch planning, and brand positioning within the local market
• Supporting all international businesses, tailoring campaigns based on local needs
• Engaging key internal stakeholders on new campaigns
• Working closely and taking guidance from the Global Marketing Director to ensure that tone of voice, campaign activity and messaging is on brand
• Brand, Content & Social Media
• Leading and overseeing all social media strategy, including content planning, publishing, and performance optimisation across platforms
• Developing content calendars aligned with key campaigns, seasonal moments, and business priorities
• Overseeing the creation of high-performing content, including reels, influencer content, and brand storytelling
• Ensuring consistency of brand voice and visual identity across all digital channels
• PR, Partnerships & Influencer Marketing
• Working closely with appointed PR agencies to develop and execute press strategies, ensuring strong brand positioning and consistent media presence
• Overseeing PR activity, including media outreach, press previews, and key moment amplification, holding agencies accountable against clear KPIsLeading the development of strategic brand partnerships and collaborations that align with Chotto Matte’s identity and drive awareness
• Identifying and executing high-impact collaborations across media, influencers, and premium lifestyle brands
• Building and managing influencer relationships and campaigns to support brand growth and guest acquisition
• Campaigns, Revenue & Performance
• Project management on all campaigns and initiatives
• Developing and executing campaigns that directly drive revenue, covers, and guest engagement
• Collaborating with operations and reservations teams to optimise performance across key dayparts
• Responsible for working within budget and tracking accordingly
• Overseeing digital marketing channels, including paid social, paid search, and website performance
• Analysing campaign performance and leveraging data insights to inform optimisations and future strategy
• Events, Activations & Guest Experience
• Managing key events and entertainment programmes
• Conceptualising and executing brand activations, launches, and key calendar moments that generate awareness and demand
• Ensuring a seamless and elevated brand experience across all guest touchpoints, from digital to in-venue
• Market Insights & Agency Management
• Conducting comprehensive and up-to-date market research on competitors in all relevant regions
• Managing briefs to external agencies, holding them accountable against clear KPIsTranslating market insights into actionable marketing strategies
