Business Development Manager

Business Development Manager (MSP experience required)Location: SydneySalary: $180-200k OTEKaliba are partnering with a Sydney-based MSP on their search for a driven IT Business Development Manager (BDM) to grow client relationships and drive new business opportunities within the IT services and managed services (MSP) space.

Key Responsibilities

• New Business Acquisition: Identify, target, and secure new clients through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship building
• IT Solution Sales: Promote managed services, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity offerings to prospective clients.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
• Client Relationship Management: Build, nurture, and manage long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
• Proposal Development & Negotiation: Prepare, present, and negotiate complex technical proposals and service agreements.
• Required Skills & Experience
• Technical Sales Expertise: Proven experience selling IT services, MSP solutions, cloud, or cybersecurity technologies.
• Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal and networking skills with a track record of managing client relationships.
• Market Insight: Ability to analyze trends, identify opportunities, and adapt strategies to evolving IT landscapes.
• Experience: Previous BDM, Account Manager, or senior sales experience within an IT services company or MSP is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Business, marketing, or IT-related qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
