About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to join a high-performing software engineering function responsible for delivering enterprise SaaS products.

Working closely with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, Architects, UX teams and Software Engineers, you will coordinate the successful delivery of multiple development initiatives while promoting Agile and Lean delivery principles. This is a highly collaborative role where you'll remove delivery obstacles, improve processes and ensure projects remain aligned with business objectives.

You'll play a key role in driving continuous improvement, supporting multiple cross-functional development teams and helping to deliver complex software projects within a fast-paced engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the successful delivery of multiple software development projects across several Agile teams.
• Manage project plans, dependencies, risks and delivery milestones to ensure successful outcomes.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, Architecture, UX and DevOps teams to maintain delivery momentum.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, planning sessions, workshops and stakeholder meetings.
• Monitor project progress and communicate updates, risks and key decisions to senior stakeholders.
• Identify delivery challenges early and implement appropriate mitigation plans.
• Promote Lean and Agile best practices while driving continuous process improvements across the engineering function.
• Support Engineering Managers with planning, forecasting and resource coordination.
• Encourage collaboration between cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of project management standards, delivery frameworks and governance processes.
• Essential Skills & Experience
• Minimum of 5+ years' experience managing technical software development projects.
• Proven background delivering complex software solutions within Agile and Lean environments.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Experience coordinating multiple technical teams and managing project dependencies.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate confidently at all levels of an organisation.
• Strong planning, organisational and risk management capabilities.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and cross-functional workshops.
• Ability to influence teams and drive delivery without direct line management responsibility.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication, collaboration and leadership abilities.
• Nice to Have
• Formal Project Management certification (PMP, Prince2, Scrum Master or equivalent).
• Experience working within large enterprise SaaS organisations.
• Exposure to Kanban, Lean or scaled Agile frameworks.
• Experience working with Engineering Managers and Product teams in cloud-based software environments.
• Knowledge of portfolio or programme management practices.
• Previous experience helping organisations improve delivery processes and operational efficiency.
