1. A Chartered Accountant qualification – CA (SA).

2. A minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience as a Chartered Accountant.

3. Knowledge of financial reporting, accounting standards, and company taxation.

4. Excellent ability to problem-solve, along with solid analytical skills and understanding of the business processes.

5. Good communication skills, including proficiency in delivering presentations.

6. High level of accuracy, analytical skills and attention to detail.

7. Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with JDE would be advantageous.

8. Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a finance team.

9. Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
