Reporting directly to the Financial Director, you will take full ownership of corporate financial operations and management reporting. A core focus of this role involves overseeing international accounting workflows and mentoring junior team members, there is a clear career progression path.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly management accounts and variance reports for senior leadership.
• Manage and consolidate group budgets, forecasts, and rolling departmental forecasts.
• Oversee day-to-day financial operations across both South African and United Kingdom jurisdictions, including VAT declarations.
• Review and verify financial transactions, journal entries, and control account reconciliations to ensure internal policy compliance.
• Supervise, coach, and support the development of junior accounting personnel.
• Leverage advanced ERP features and automated financial tools to streamline budgeting and reporting processes.
• Qualifications & Experience
• Registered SAICA (Chartered Accountant), or CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) member with 3 to 8 years of post-articles experience.
• Strong background in compiling management accounts, variance analysis, and group budget consolidations.
• Practical operational familiarity with Oracle NetSuite or a similar major ERP system.
• Exposure to or experience with Artificial Intelligence financial automation tools is advantageous.
