Manager, Solution Delivery

Role Purpose

This role is responsible for leading a Solution Delivery team to deliver high-quality, end-to-end technology solutions that meet SG Fleet’s business needs.  It combines strong people leadership with delivery and project management disciplines to ensure teams are well resourced, supported, and aligned to deliver consistent business value.

Job Requirements

• Tertiary qualification In Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Relevant certifications in ITIL, Project Management and Cloud Certifications.
• Proven experience in people leadership and building team capability.
• Ability to establish clear goals, devise plans and inspire teams and performance.
• Significant experience in technology delivery, including large-scale programmes or portfolios, managing the end-to-end solution delivery.
• Experience in managing, negotiating and influencing at all organisational levels.
• Strong understanding of solution architecture and systems integration.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• Demonstrated ability to balance long-term strategy with short-term delivery demands.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced documentation, planning and organising skills.
• Demonstrated experience with managing critical incidents and removing delivery blokers.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and develop high-performing delivery teams, providing leadership, coaching, resource planning, and performance management to foster a collaborative and accountable culture.
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of technology and business solutions, ensuring agreed scope, quality, timelines, budget, and business outcomes are achieved.
• Partner with business stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements, prioritise delivery initiatives, and ensure solutions align with organisational objectives and customer need.
• Establish and maintain effective delivery governance, including risk, issue, dependency, and change management processes, ensuring proactive escalation and resolution of delivery challenges.
• Drive delivery excellence through the adoption of appropriate methodologies, standards, tools, and best practices, promoting continuous improvement across solution delivery processes.
• Monitor, report, and communicate delivery progress, outcomes, and key performance indicators to stakeholders, providing clear insight into delivery health, risks, and benefits realisation.
• Oversee vendor and partner relationships, ensuring contractual obligations, service levels, and delivery commitments are met while optimising value and performance.
