Digital Account Executive – Outbound Media Sales

Job Summary

About the Role Are you a hunter who thrives on closing deals and scaling revenue? We are seeking a high-energy Digital Account Executive to monetize our rapidly growing web traffic.

In this role, you will own the entire sales cycle—from prospecting to closing. You will pitch premium display ads, programmatic inventory, and custom sponsorships directly to brands and agencies.

Focus 100% on Sales: This is a pure revenue-generating role. We have dedicated teams for tech and creative, meaning your only focus is crushing your targets and maximizing your commission.

What You’ll Do

• Prospect and engage advertisers, media agencies, and programmatic partners through outbound outreach.
• Develop and sell customized advertising packages, sponsorships, and digital campaigns.
• Close both direct and programmatic advertising deals.
• Negotiate pricing, placement, and contract terms to maximize revenue.
• Manage client relationships to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships.
• Coordinate campaign launches, including scheduling and placement of ads (display, banners, sponsored content).
• Monitor performance and deliver clear, value-driven reporting to clients.
• Identify opportunities to increase yield from existing traffic and ad inventory.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in digital media, advertising, or outbound sales.
• Proven success closing deals and generating revenue in a quota-driven environment.
• Strong prospecting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage a sales pipeline from lead to close.
• Results-driven mindset with comfort working toward revenue targets.

Nice-to-Have Advantages

• Bilingual (English and French).
• Experience selling website inventory, sponsorships, or digital media.
• Familiarity with programmatic advertising, agencies, or reseller networks.
• Working knowledge of Google AdSense, Google Analytics, or similar tools.
• Understanding of SEO and digital traffic growth.

This is a dedicated outbound sales role. It is not a design or development position. Only candidates with proven outbound sales experience will be considered.

Compensation

$30,000–$55,000 base + commission

Location: Hybrid (Toronto, ON)

Pay: $30,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
