Michelin PM Sous Chef

We are seeking a hungry, passionate, and hard-working PM Sous Chef to join a Michelin-starred kitchen recognized by the Michelin Guide. This is a key leadership role within the kitchen, working closely with senior leadership and the Chef de Cuisine to support daily operations, production, and service execution.

PM Sous Chef Requirements & Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in high-end kitchens, Michelin experience preferred
• Strong leadership experience supporting or managing kitchen teams
• Long-term commitment and desire to grow within a fine dining environment
• Strong organizational skills across inventory, storage systems, and ordering
• Experience with professional kitchen equipment and refined cooking techniques
• California Food Handler’s certification required (manager certification a plus)
• Clean work habits with strong attention to detail
• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and reliability

PM Sous Chef Preferred Background & Skills

• Experience in Michelin-starred or fine dining kitchens
• Proven ability to support production, service execution, and team leadership
• Strong butchery skills, including whole animal and heritage protein breakdown
• Experience with structured inventory systems and order management
• Ability to guide, teach, and support junior kitchen staff
• Strong communication skills across BOH and FOH teams
• Ability to perform as a key leader during dinner service and closing
• Experience supporting private events and elevated service execution
• Commitment to upholding and reinforcing kitchen culture and standards
