Job Summary

We’re looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Sous Chef to join our culinary team. In this role, you’ll support the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations, overseeing food preparation, and ensuring that every dish meets our high standards. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, experienced in food production and catering, and eager to lead a team in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

•Assist in preparing and cooking a variety of menu items, ensuring consistency and quality.

•Supervise kitchen staff during shifts, providing guidance and leadership to maintain smooth operations.

•Oversee food production, from ingredient prep to final presentation, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.

•Manage inventory control, including stock rotation, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.

•Support the Marketplace and catering events by coordinating food service and ensuring timely delivery.

•Maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment by following proper food handling procedures.

•Collaborate with the team on menu planning, recipe development, and special dietary requests.

•Other duties/responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Proven experience in food production, restaurant management, or catering environments.
• Strong supervisory skills with experience leading kitchen teams.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures.
• Experience with food production, restaurant or catering is highly desirable.
• Skilled in inventory management, food preparation, and kitchen management.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
